The European Commission has adopted new rules stepping up the deployment of Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) on Europe’s roads.

On 13th of March 2019 The European Commission adopted the new rules stepping up the deployment of C-ITS which are important for enabling communication between vehicles.

It includes new cooperative elements, specifications on interoperability and legal requirements.
