The official Kick-Off, which indicates the official launch of the Frame NEXT project, took place in Brussels on 18th of June 2017 with the presence of the European Commission (Gilles Carabin).
The aim of FRAME NEXT is to extend the European ITS Framework Architecture, in short FRAME, with the activities of the different Member States in Europe, with the priority areas concerned by the ITS Directive 2010/40/EU and with the methodologies and tools that make a modern ITS architecture attractive and appealing for its users.
Project partners will interact with a wide range of stakeholders from public authorities at national, regional and city level and with industries and service providers from the various mobility related sectors including goods transport.
