A presentation of the NAP architecture work done by FRAME NEXT was given to NAP interested parties at the EIP Forum in Utrecht, the Netherlands. This included the view that there is a minimum set of functions to implement due to the ITS directives, and optional functions that are implemented in some countries but not others because of national requirements that are aligned with the NAP role. The idea is presented that the FRAME NEXT architecture could help in unifying the presentation of national access points, which may improve their use and adoption.
